The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) completed the third review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement for Suriname. The completion of the review allows the authorities to draw the equivalent of SDR 39.4 million (about US$52 million), bringing total purchase to SDR 118.2 (about US$156 million). Op dinsdag 26 september jl. heeft President Santokhi van Suriname op zijn kabinet een bijeenkomst gehad met de Confederatie voor Organisaties van Landsdienaren (COL) en De Progressieve Vakcentrale C-47 en vertegenwoordigers van andere vakbonden.
