Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication (TEATT) Grisha Heyliger-Marten is working closely with the Minister of Finance to determine whether a portion of increased turnover tax revenues (belasting op bedrijfsomzetten, BBO) resulting from higher fuel prices and fuel consumption, can be used to support a temporary reduction in excise tax (accijns).  According to a news release on the general website of the Government of Sint Maarten.
