The Minister expects to defend the retraction of the inheritance tax and the land tax in Parliament in 2026. Draft legislation on a tourist tax is currently under internal review and will then proceed to the Council of Advice. The measure to effectuate the dividend withholding tax is expected to significantly improve compliance.
